Have you ever tried to do this yourself? Have you ever dared yourself on assembling your own computer? Or have you ever tried to touch the inside parts of a computer.
I know that some of you were afraid of touching the
inside parts of the CPU. But what's the point of reading this post and why do you
continue to read this further. I know that you want a guide, and some of you might went
to other websites hoping to find the perfect guide. What i'm about to teach you is not the perfect guide but
the simplicity of how i handle it in my ten years of experience in computer
assembly.
Assuming you have already purchase all the necessary
basic parts of the computer, now lets break down the steps to assemble it
perfectly.
Here's How:
1. Prepare your CPU casing, your screwdriver and screws.
2. Insert the power supply unit, screw at the back of the
cpu casing. Set aside.
3. Assemble your motherboard according to its manual.
a. Fit the
processor to the board, put heat sink paste, then attach the heat sink to cover
the processor.
b. Fit the
memory to the memory slot.
4. Set the motherboard screw, then fit your new board.
5. Attach the power supply and fan supply to the board.
6. Attach video card, then screw it at the back of the
cpu casing.
7. Attach the hard disk drive, optical drive and its
cable.
8. Now everything is set inside the cpu, cover the cpu
casing then screw it.
9. Assemble the external parts, by attaching the monitor,
keyboard and mouse.
10. Power on the cpu and monitor.
Now you're ready for the installation of operating
system.
Way back in 2003 during my OJT, I used to assemble at
least 8-10 pcs. in an hour to serve the delivery of 50 pcs. within 4 hours.
